I have a friend who currently is on Camino Frances and just passed Sarria. She posted a question on her FindPenguins about some 'sculptures' as she put it in the river

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
A more interesting example of stone stacking than most I've seen along the Caminos. No idea what it may have represented to whoever created it. But pretty sure they will not have survived a serious Galician downpour and the spate which would follow.

Saw those "sculptures" last year, and thought "it must have been a hot day for someone to have spent all that time in the cold, running water".

It is after Melide. My grandchildren added some last year 😊
I'm sorry I don't think it's the same grouping. My friend at that time just passed Sarria. She made Palace del Rei last night so what she saw couldn't be "after Melide"
