Burgos to Madrid airport

Looking at my options to get from Burgos to MAD airport for two pilgrims. The ALSA bus is €21 per person. That seems expensive, no? Are there any other options?

Also, my flight departs at 19:20. There is a bus that leaves Burgos at 15:00 and arrives to the airport at 17:30. That should be enough time, right?

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

€60,-
I think the bus cost seems very reasonable. If you have an international flight and need to check luggage, you may want to check in earlier (3 hours), but if you already have a boarding pass and don't need to check a bag, 2 hours should be sufficient. You don't say the date of your travel, but if it is a holiday or heavy travel day, you should consider any delays at security, etc. too.

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
€21 is really very good, especially if the bus takes you to the airport. By train it is €26 to €50.50. The 9.34 gets you there at 11.49 and the 12.02 for 14.19 if you want to spend more to get that extra cushion of time. The métro is 20 minutes from Chamartin.

Last year I took a rideshare from Burgos to Madrid for €16 & a metro from Plaza de Espana to MAD airport for €4 or €6 I don't really remember. The bus take you directly to the airport, €21 is a good price.

It sounds like the price is reasonable so I will go ahead and book it. I’m not checking in any bags and will remember to print my boarding pass in advance, just in case. Thanks everyone!
