Camino Portuguese in April - looking to connect with other pilgrims

April 2022, Camino Portugues
I'm Margret, I'm in my early 50s, Canadian and I'll be starting in Porto around 20th April - solo journey. I'd be interested in connecting with other pilgrims in general and open to the possibility of occasionally sharing rooms when albergue isn't close/available. Sometimes that seems to be the case.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

Olá Margret,
Reserve a bed at privat albergue Casa da Fernanda between Barcelos and Ponte de Lima if you are intending to walk the central route. There you will meet lots of pelgrims
I have been there many times and in the meantine I have many caminho friends
And you will have a good time staying at Fernanda’s. A common meal etc

Fernanda’s phonenumber
is +351 914 589 521

If you do not succeed in contacting Fernanda , send me a pm .
I am in contact with Fernanda’s husband once or more a week.
Bom caminho
Albertinho

I am walking from Porto on the 20th. I am slow. We may meet as it will take me 2 days to get to the Vila do Conde. then to the inland rout. My name is Shirley and I am in my early seventies. Travelling solo.

Hi Margret. My husband Ross & I live in Porto. We are wanting to know if you are interested in a wine or a coffee when you arrive here, before you begin your Caminho Portugues. We walked Camino Frances 2012 (ten years ago!), have been wanting to come back -- a dream, really -- and finally realized by getting our D7 visa from the wonderful Portuguese people. We have a small apartment, actually right on one of the waymarked sidewalks in Cedofeita. Yes, we plan to walk right from our apartment this coming October to Santiago.
