Hi, Can anyone tell me how many spaces there are for stamps on a Lisbon Cathedral Credential?

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hi, @Staffman,
I just counted — There are 8 pages for stamps, with 8 spaces for a stamp on each page.

I’ve attached a picture of an empty one - you can see that there are no squares per se, so some of the stamps will probably wind up spanning the space. But I think it is plenty for a walk from Lisbon.IMG_1771.jpeg

I used a Portuguese credential for my Camino del Norte/Primitivo this year and didn't fill it.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

The Credencial da Associação de Peregrinos Via Lusitana available in Portugal (shown above) is a slightly different size to the Credencial Del Peregrino from the Catedral de Santiago. The former is 16cm by 9.5 cm, has seven leaves (14 sides). There are seven full pages available for stamps with eight spaces on each, and four free spaces on the first page with another space for the initial stamp. The Credencial del Peregrino is 15cm by 10cm, has nine leaves (18 sides) five of which are available with spaces for six stamps and another page for the initial stamp and up to four other stamps.

These days I tend to end up using three of these for my longer pilgrimage walks. It is an inexpensive way of keeping an aide memoire of the places that I have visited along the way.

Hi where can I pick up the Credencial da Associação de Peregrinos Via Lusitana?

Regards Bill & Sanra
They should have them at the cathedrals in Lisbon and Porto, and possibly in albergues along the way.

You can use any credential that you like on the Portuguese Caminos, but I think that it's nice to use the Portuguese one. Plus I really like their designs.

In Porto, I picked up the Credencial da Associação de Peregrinos Via Lusitana version at the Capela das Armas, and they are available at the Se do Porto. In Coimbra, I picked up the Catedral de Santiago version at the Albergue de peregrinos Rainha Santa Isabel. It is in Santa Clara, the suburb on the south bank.
