I guess this is a tricky question but I thought I'd ask anyway.. what was your favourite albergue? Maybe it was the location, the ambiance, the other pilgrims staying there or any other factor you care to name. For me so far it was the albergue Essentia in Redecilla del Camino.. the guy who owns it makes it really stand out for me as one of the most welcoming and fun nights I've had. The guy is a true camino angel. Any thoughts?

Andy, great to see that you are enjoying the Camino - and not sticking to Brierley stages. I walked through Redecilla del Camino last week and am embarrassed to say that I didn't even notice it had an albergue. Truly, you are taking the road less travelled. Where are you now?

Ultreia!

I tend to spend most of my time not knowing quite where I am. Last night was Castrojeriz and I think tonight may be a dreaded Brierly but I won't be making a habit of it

another vote for Casa La Magica...Casa Abuela in Los Arcos...Alb. Meeting Point in Hornillos...Alb. Don Alvaro in Saria...all great...

Hi Andy
Just catching up on your little walk. The tough training on the peaks of Sutton on Sea must be of a benefit to you. Just remember when the going gets tough, get your head down and think of Batemans - The beer that made Wainfleet famous. Keep smiling

Thank you so much for this. I really appreciate it.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
