€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
I walked it this February, starting on the second and went via Astorga, had done the Sanabres before. You can check my updates on this forum plus various photographic records. this is a youtube of it in February that I just made. Hope it will give you a feel for things. www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFqcquoRK5E

Dear Dermot...
Thank you for replying to my post on the VDLP. watching your U Tube clip has given me a good insight of what to expect, it will be a great pleasure to follow in your foot steps..your pixs are excellent..thank you again...Alain

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

I walked the VdlP this February and posted my updates here https://www.caminodesantiago.me/com...es-via-de-la-plata-february-abril-2016.38377/ The one thing I would say is that it was still cold/coolish for the most part during mornings and evenings once I left Sevilla behind and I even had a short snow shoer near Fuenterobles. As you are starting a bit later that might be less so - or not. Also do take rain gear and beware of the stream crossings, especially if the early Spring was rainy. Buen Camino, SY

I also walked in February (2014).
Weather can vary a lot, the winter we did it there was lots of flooding of Arroyos which we had to wade through - no big deal after the first time. My person limit is up to above my knee. Varying opinions but I just walk through without taking off my socks or shoes.

Most nights we slept in our sleeping bags next to the (moveable) electric radiators but walking during the day was fine with a thin jacket and thermal t-shirt.

Don't forget the rain gear - I wore a poncho. It never poured all day but there were those days that drizzled. Lovely skyscapes with ominous clouds.

Buen Camino!

Very light, comfortable and compressible poncho. Specially designed for protection against water for any activity.

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.
