Greetings of interest I came across a company by the name of Finisterre which deals in hiking/trekking equipment. they have advertised a backpack under the name of Ferrino 48L lightweight, has anyone heard of it? It's priced at 150.00 Canadian.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

I believe that the company is named Ferrino. It's an Italian company that makes outdoor gear, including a raincoat/poncho similar to the well known (to forum members) Altus.

Ferrino is a well known italian outdoor equipment company founded in the 19th century.
https://www.ferrino.it/es Similar to Millet and Lafuma from France, Vaude or Salewa from Germany or Mammut from Switzerland. All Classic mountain equipment companies.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
I have just finished walking the Via Postumia and Via Degli Dei using a Ferrino Agile 35. I like it. The waist belt is on the narrow side but other than that it has worked well.

A 48L is a bit on the large side...at least for me.

Sorry don’t know this company but wanted to share that I (small - medium height female) am walking VDLP from Sevilla to Santiago with a 36 L backpack - so far so good.

Walked with a girl using the Ferrino Finisterre backpack. It seemed alright. Pretty much like al the Osprey and Gregory and whatnot. If you are not looking for an ultralight option chances are that if it fits you well it will do its job.
