The forum has helped me, especially the topics on human relationships in the shelters have been learning and fun. I'm anti social. I'm getting ready to have a more relaxed attitude and enjoy the Camino. It has been great to read the posts of experienced pilgrims.

Welcome to the forum! There is a lot of great info here and great people. Hope your Camino is fabulous. Let me know how I can help!

Yes, welcome to the Forum!
Now, as to being anti-social. I see two beautiful puppies in your picture. I have an Australian Cattle Dog, Raider, my service dog. I will tell you, there is no way a dog owner can be anti-social (in most respects) especially when going out for walks, or just to play. When I walk at the beach perfect strangers will approach, some with dogs and some not. A conversation will begin and before you know it an entire vista of possibilities opens. If there is one draw back, many try to steal Raider away from me.
That said, I suspect you will not be taking your dogs on Camino. So, treat anyone you come in close contact with as you walk the Way similarly to how dogs approach other dogs and people. If a dog doesn't alert to a threat, they will generally approach with their head up and their tail wagging. Do the same except, rather than wagging your tail, SMILE...it's a great door opener. Maybe someone will try to steal you.

First Camino Sept. 24th from SJPdP

Hi, My name is Marcos from Brazil. I am starting out from SJPdP on Sept. 24th to walk my first Camino. Feeling maybe a little apprehensive. I hope that by then, things are returning to normal .....
Don't worry about returning to normal. There will be a new normal because the world has changed. Also with this being your first camino whatever you encounter will be normal as you have nothing to compare it to. So do not worry about that either. Walk your own camino, everyone has some anxiety before the start of a camino, it will melt away quickly. As for being anti-social just a smile or a Buen Camino will be a perfect antidote for any anti-social feelings. People will draw you in. Buen Camino, and like everyone says there is a ton of information here but there is no substitute for your own experience.

Hi Michael, thanks for your contact, it would be a pleasure to share the taxi. But, I will leave Pamplona for SJPdP on the 23rd of Sept.
My initial plan was to stop at the Orrisson, as I made a reservation at the Pilgrims' Hostel in Orreaga-Roncesvalles (24 sept), I will walk straight to Roncesvalles, with accommodation settled, I can arrive later, I feel comfortable walking straight.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
