I give away small envelopes of about 20 Hollyhock seeds (mixed, organic, hand-picked French ones) to anyone going on the pilgrimage who asks.
The idea being that when you sit somewhere to have a drink, get those boots off, look at the view, you can press a couple of seeds an inch or so into the ground and next year they will spring up - bee-nurturing beautiful things, hollyhocks - no, doesn't hurt the ecology, they are Europe-wide plants. In a few years a ribbon of colour as they do dry and arid very well. Go to http://www.PilgrimSupplies.org and mail me your address.
