Getting Camino Cert at the Pilgrims Office Santiago

Hi, hoping to get our certs on Tuesday Sept 6th or early morning the next day at the Pilgrims Office. .
I see you can apply online and get a QR code to present at the office, but I think you have to apply online at least 3 weeks before you visit the office. Also one of us walked about 70km then when back again skipped about 80km to begin in León so does the cert cover the distance from Léon to Santiago only? Any suggestions or info re opening times and average queuing times appreciated. Bom Caminho!

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

From the drop-down menu select ‘register’. Select ‘single’ and for unknown reasons check ‘create a group’. Do this for each of you individually.

Or - which I’ve not personally done - you could select ‘group’ and apply once for all of you; but with different starting points for the certificate of distance that may cause confusion.

Apply for a QR code when you get to Santiago as you’ll go in the queue straight away. In the case of the one who, for this purpose, started in Leon their distance certificate will reflect just that. The compostella only requires the last 100km (on foot) and does not show the distance.

The distance certificate - which is different and additional to the Compostella - is optional and costs a few euros.

Thank you, this is a great help 🙏

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
I notice that the Pilgrim's Reception Office web page gives two different Opening Hours. First it says 10AM until 18:00 pm; then later on the same web page it says Opening Hours from 9am until 7pm. Does anyone have current information for those of us hiking this fall? Thanks
