Getting from Biarritz to SJPP

Time of past OR future Camino
Planning my first pilgrimage in June/July of 2017.
Hello!
I arrive in Biarritz on June 17, 2017 in the early afternoon and am curious about the best way to get to SJPP from the Biarritz airport. Are there other pilgrims arriving that day who would be willing to split a cab? Is a bus or a train the best way to go? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Chronoplus bus #14 from Biarritz/Anglet Airport to Gare de Bayonne.

SNCF TER Aquitaine train #62 from Gare de Bayonne to SJPdP.

Alternatively, Express Bourricot is a private hire taxi based in SJPdP that caters to pilgrims including organizing shared rides.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Contact James at Biarritz airport transfer. After booking he found someone to share the fare. Van holds 7.

There is a train direct from Biarritz to SJPdP. Cheap as chips and the train has a lot of other pilgrims so you can set up friendships straight away.

Buen Camino.

Buen Camino.

The direct train to SJPdP is the TER line 62 from Bayonne.
As Lance Chambers notes it is a great way to meet and greet other pilgrims.

Bon voyage and Buen camino!

Our Atmospheric H30 poncho offers lightness and waterproofness. Easily compressible and made with our Waterproof fabric, its heat-sealed interior seams guarantee its waterproofness. Includes carrying bag.

OUCH! My mistake - the train leaves from BAYONNE, not Biarritz. But there is a train from Biarritz to Bayonne on a regular schedule and can cost as little as 1.4 Euro: https://www.trainline.eu/trains/biarritz/bayonne.

Take Chronoplus bus 'C' from Biarritz/Anglet Airport to Gare Biarritz.

Take SNCF train from Gare Biarritz to Gare Bayonne.

Take SNCF TER Aquitaine train from Gare Bayonne to SJPdP.

It costs more than taking the bus from the Airport to Gare Bayonne. The schedule might work out if you're short of time ... for instance the 1745 from Biarrtiz arrives Bayonne 1755 ... in time to catch the 1806 to SJPdP.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
