I’m in my second week on the CDN and am pleasantly surprised by the consistent good weather we’re having. Last week around Deba and Bilbao I had 2 wet days which made walking on paths tricky and slippy but since then and for the foreseeable the forecast is good and on some days has been a little warm for comfortable walking (25-30c). I’ll take it all day long over rain though. I’ve been able to enjoy the wonderful views on offer and looking forward to more today heading through Santander.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.

@FootlooseAgain for some reason, the googlemap wouldn’t open up for me. I have taken screenshots and attached them here. The path is called Senda del Litoral (coastal path).

I can totally imagine you are enjoying the dry, warm and sunny weather in northern Spain at the moment. But it is far beyond normal. Maximum temperatures are more than 10 °C above average at the moment. And we have had very little rainfall since January already. So this is all pretty worrying.
