My name is James, from the UK. Had a minor crisis in March and just jumped in my car, ended up in Bilbao. Still can't remember how I got there! Had to get boat back to Portsmouth as exhausted. Visited Burgos by train to visit Cathedral and realised a place I really wanted to get to is Santiago. The train took 8 hours from Bilbao and time ran out.. Had to return home and face the music. Booked a cheap Ryan air flight to Santiago a weekend in May and the Cathedral was amazing. Saw Pilgrims arriving and realised this must be a wonderful amazing experience and I really want to do the Camino. Just read 'Spanish Steps' by Tim Moore and other articles which makes me want to go even more. I will keep in touch with this web site and try and plan a walk, maybe next year. Time is my major problem though. Good luck to everyone planning the Camino

Hi James, I am also from the UK and am planning to walk part of the Camino next May, from Leon to Santiago. I don’t have a great deal of time so I am hoping that it will take approximately 14 days. Maybe you could walk the Camino in stages?

Hello.

I can't believe it is 7 years to the day since I wrote this original post. So much has happened to me and there is not a day when I don't reflect on my journey across Spain.
I'm also pleased to see the forum is still going strong.

Buen Camino to all.
