New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Hola Norman!

I lived in Old San Juan and Levittown Lakes back in the 70's.
I was 17 and worked as a go-go dancer and waitress in a little bar called The Big Bamboo on the waterfront. I wonder if it's still there? THOSE were the days! I still have family in Carolina.

Beautiful island!
You're going to love Spain!
Buen Camino!

Norman: 3 wks ago, I returned home from walking the Camino Frances from St Jean Pied de Port. A shorter but different experience from the one you are undertaking, but regardless of the distance or mode of doing it, you will have the time of your life! Buen camino

Annie: First news that you lived in the island; you must speak spanish then! If you haven't been back since, The Big Bamboo, and most of the docks and old warehouses in the waterfront area have, over decades given way to a more ambitious project and given a much needed facelift to the entire harbour.

Saludos from San Juan

Annie ! The details of one's personal life that come out !!! At times the Camino feels like a confessional. I will read your sage advice with new eyes, knowing you once were a go-go dancer.

Norman, You will have an awesome time. Take time to see the sights and get to know people in the Albergues each evening.

David, Victoria, Canada.
