Hello New to this

My Partner and I are planning to wlk the Camino fron SJPDP leaving at the beginning of June. It will be our first time. we are looking forward to meeting lots of new people from all over the world. The Forum is excellent as i come up with a new question each day and just have to search to find the answer. Steve

Hi, I am new to this too, beginning on 26th June, There seems to be a lot to worry about, sleeping bag or liner, which Backpack, finding the right light rain jacket, boots or shoes etc.
I;m sure it will be fine once we pack the bags and then unpack again to leave half of it behind!!!

Hi Caroline, It does seem confusing at first but bear in mind that the options arise because of differing opinions. One thing is not necessarily better than another, just that it suits a particular person. It's a matter of making your own choices depending on the time of year you're going to be walking and whether you feel the cold, the heat, are used to carrying a pack etc.
