I live on the Chemin de St Jacques!

Hello everyone - I am new to this forum. I live actually on the route to Santiago - in SW France. I watch dozens of pilgrims walk through the village everyday - and I am starting my walk June 11 - just 8 days to St Jean Pied de Porte, then I will return to SJPDP in September to walk for 2 weeks into Spain. The route is very popular with the Germans this year as a book on the route was a best seller there last year (I believe) so be prepared for full refuges!

Hi

We are currently in Cahors. Where are you starting from on June 11? We will probably be in Lectoure or somewhere around then.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
Don1 - bienvenue - could you say, which route do you live on and where? I'm interested in how many pilgrims may pass each year.

Bonjour
I live in Nogaro - on the Chemin du Puy, and as I train for my walk I talk to many of the pilgrims, (surprisingly quite a few from Switzerland), and Moissac is the starting point for many many French people. As for numbers - I dont know but the numbers are certainly increasing.

Sounds great, I started mine at Moissac. I leved then south of Angouleme, by Villebois Lavalette (Poitou Charente).

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
