I miss my bandana and I hope it's doing well!

On June 27th, I finished my Camino at the Faro in Finisterra. For some reason, I felt compelled to leave my bandana there tied on a trekking pole left by another pilgrim. Both are near the radio tower below the lighthouse, I hope it's still there physically because it will always be there in my mind. If anyone sees it, a photo would be great. If the walking stick has fallen, please stand it back up as I found it and as it was intended to be. Thank you and Buen Camino!

I wore it everyday on the Camino and it served that purpose and many others. I don't know why leaving a $4 bandana meant so much to me. A friend sent me a picture a couple days after I left and they inadvertently caught it in the background. Safe travels and Buen Camino!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
May I ask a question?

I don't doubt the emotional feeling a pilgrim may experience when reaching Finisterre and wants to make some kind of mark.
But when you think about it : what if only ten percent of the pilgrims leaves a piece of clothing behind or shoes ? Can you imagine the debris? The waste? The trekking pole did not need to be planted there in the first place, the bandana neither.
In the end someone has to clean it up...
Not to mention the ecological disaster long term....

It is not my idea of ending a pilgrimage in beauty...
Please consider some other ways of celebrating the end of your pilgrimage.
