Is there an equivalent to Cruz de Ferro on Norte / Primitivo?

Hi everyone, I will be walking the Norte & Primativo from mid May with my husband.

It's not our first Camino and last time, my mother gave me 5 prettily painted stones for the Cruz de Ferro which I carried and laid for her. They weren't small, but it made her happy I carried them in her honour.

This time I know she'll likely want me to lay more stones for her. Is there an equivalent to Cruz de Ferro on the Norte/Primativo route?

I start the Norte May 12. Maybe we will cross paths at some point!
We may! If we start from Irun, my husband and I will probably be about 5 days behind you, starting on May 17. We haven't decided if we are starting from Irun or Bilbao yet as we aren't sure if we want to do a few rest days before Dave flies home and I travel onto the UK at the end of June. But it looks likely we'll start at Irun, if not we may see you in Bilbao :)

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.
Here’s the spot @BrianLCrabtree might be referring to:

And you may want to consider contributing your stones to the remains of the Hospitales themselves:

I love this thread. For some reason I found the comments touching, especially the part about the place finding you.

Yes, you can see people have made a junk pile in the picture. TaraWalks is only talking about stones like she took the last time. And I’m not suggesting messing with the structure of the ruins. Just thought her mother’s rocks might not want to be near the assorted debris others have left.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hi all, I’m starting my Camino Frances on May 12. I’ve booked my first night in SJPDP, but I’m starting to worry I need to book more. My plan was to take it day by day and just turn up, but lots...
Hello all. Here to give a brief account of my (and many others) first day on the Camino on May 1. The trip to Roncesvalles was tough. I went Valcarlos route because napoleon was very ill advised...
I am wondering how you disconnect, in part, from the world. I have a couple of reasons that I need to be accessible but, I don't want to be constantly connected on this journey. Ideas?
Can anyone tell me if food is available there… anyone stayed recently? Cheers
If you’re walking the Camino Portugues right now I’d recommend you avoid the complementario route into Pontevedra. While it is quiet and green and follows the river, it’s also a muddy mess. I...
