J.K. Rowling and Santiago

It looked like J.K. Rowling (the author of Harry Potter) would be attending a conference in Santiago in May 2005. But the popular Harry Potter website, http://www.the-leaky-cauldron.org has tried to confirm this visit and has found that J.K. Rowling will not be coming to Santiago in May.

I recieved this from the Spanish publisher of the Harry Potter books today:

Estimados Sres.,

Les escribo de parte de los representantes de J. K. Rowling, autora de los
libros de Harry Potter, quienes han recibido la noticia publicada en su
diario de que su representada participará en una conferencia sobre la paz
en Santiago en 2005. Por favor tomen nota de que la señora Rowling no tiene
previsto asistir y hagan la corrección pertinente.
