Time of past OR future Camino
I plan to walk the Camino this year (2016)
In traversing from Lourdes to Oloron - St Marie, I'm having problems with my walking shoes. Unfortunately I wear size 12 US, but the largest I can find is 11 1/2 US. Any recommendation for the best prospects for shoe shopping in SJPdP for us big footed cavemen. Kinda like to keep my toenails and keep walking!

Thank you all for your posts. As a man from the US, I found European sizing difficult. Especially at US 12! I ended up ordering off Amazon France, 47s in Merrell, which I believe is a 12 1/2 but they are working great. I had them shipped in 2 days and just lazed around Oloron! 3 days walking hence and now in Ordiarp with no problems except the brutal heat and humidity! I appreciate your input.

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
