Hi Everyone - I'll be leaving SJPP on April 20 - what a way to celebrate my birthday!! Is anyone else leaving this day and considering walking via Valcarlos?

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.

I'm leaving St Jean the day before you, 19 April, and will be taking the lower route via Valcarlos. No doubt our paths will cross, save me some birthday cake! Buen Camino.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.

Hey Clive - would be great if you could post what you thought of the walk through to Valcarlos. I've heard that the trail used to be overgrown and a bit hard to find so hopefully it will be better now.
