Looking for children's books on Camino

Hello,
I'm a new forum member and a writer. I completed my first pilgrimage to Santiago in Oct 2008.
It would be great if more English-speaking kids from US, England, Canada, and elsewhere knew about the Camino. Do you know any children's books on the subject? I've started working on one and am having great fun!

3rd Edition. More content, training & pack guides avoid common mistakes, bed bugs etc
We found and bought a colouring book with an instructive sentence on the Camino per picture which we saw in many tourist places and tourist information offices in France on the Vezelay route. It was one of a series covering other topics - I can't remember the name of the series but could find out - book went to oldest granddaughter (which a reassuring message that Granny and Granddad were not dressed like the pilgrims in the picture. The staffs (staves?) would have been a real problem on the bikes and we don't like our daughter to know that we don't wear our helmets all the time, so wearing the pilgrim hats would be a real giveaway) It came in various languages.

Chimenti, Wayne (2006) El Camino de Santiago: Rites of Passage. Trafford Publishing. ISBN-13: 978-1412056380. El Camino de Santiago: Rites of Passage is about the Chimenti family's travels on a 500-mile walking pilgrimage. It started as Nahja, their 12-year old daughter's "rite of passage". It turned out to be a test for everyone.

Thank you very much for this information! I can hardly wait to find and read these things! I'm not sure who answered this because I don't know yet how this all works, but it is certainly appreciated!

Hi Esther,

I'm planning to walk the Camino Portuguese this summer with my daughter, she will be 9.

Any spanish friends has done the same last summer. This pilgrim family when to the Camino del Sureste by bicycle (the father and the older child, 13) and to the portuguese (the mother and the daughter, 5). Great experience for both couples and of course for children.

Buen Camino, even with children.
