Luggage transfer between key cities

Time of past OR future Camino
April/may 2024 Or September
Hi, hoping someone maybe able to guide me. On my Camino from SJPDP, I would like to take days off in a few of the larger cities. Is it possible, and who with, to have a small suitcase transferred on my walk just between those cities and stored until I get there? Example - transfer SJPDP to pamplona / Pamplona to Burgos / Burgos to Leon, etc - thanks for any guidance

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
Correos - the Spanish postal service - offers a service called Paq Peregrino which allows you to forward a parcel to a post office on the route and collect it from there. 15 days of storage is included but you can add extra days if necessary. It would not cover transfers from SJPDP to Pamplona as it only works between Spanish addresses.

The only issue is that depending on when you arrive Correos may not be open. I would always double check the times of day you can retrieve your bag before sending. Correos is usually not open on Sundays for example, and many close mid-afternoon and not reopen other days. You also have to wait until they open to send it on to the next place before you can start walking. I would find that a big hassle.

Most of us just wear our pilgrim clothes. I have one walking set of clothes and a dress I wear in the afternoon and evening while my clothes are drying after laundering.

The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
I remember on one of my early walks some young peregrinas dressed to the nines wearing heels in Zubiri. That was a very odd sight to behold.

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.

I use a backpack with Camino gear and a suitcase with vacation attire. The suitcase gets shipped to Santiago. Pilgrim until I reach Santiago. Tourist for the remaining days.

I do the same. I think that it would be too much of a hassle to take the suitcase to the post office and pick it up several times during my Camino.
