I will be Completing my 5 week CF walk to Santiago in a few days. I need to see water! Looking for ideas to walk along or near beaches. I have four days. What if I take a bus from Santiago to Cee, then walk and sleep in Praia de Lingosterre, Finisterre, Lires, Muxia, then bus back to Santiago? It’s been tough (I’m old, LOL), and I want some relaxing, beautiful days to finish my Camino. Thanks for any ideas!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Get a bus to Fisterra. Walk to Lires. Get a room in As Eiras. Spend your time at Bar Playa de Lires and, as the tides turn, watch the maelstrom that forms in the bend in the river and contemplate the way life changes

Playa de Langosteira is beautiful. I can also recommend Sardiñeiro, I walked there from Finisterre and back the other day, the way was very enjoyable and on the beach of Sardiñeiro there was only one person other than me.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
If you want to go somewhere with beautiful beaches with a great path to walk on by the sea consider a few relaxing days in A Coruña. It's only a half hour by train from Santiago.

I thought that it was a great place to transition from Camino life to regular life.

Didn’t even think of that! Thank you.

I feel your plan is a good one. The scenery is beautiful and the beaches stunning.

After our first camino years ago we took the train to Vigo ( a short ride). There are several great beaches in Vigo, and in Cangas- a short 20 minute ferry ride across the bay. We now go there after each camino!

This is such a good idea!! A Coruna is really lovely and the walk to Hercules Tower is along the coastal path!
Wish I’d stayed a few days instead of a day trip.

Sounds like you don’t want to walk Santiago to Finisterre but I just have to say to a great walk and when you see the coast it’s an amazing sight. When the beach appeared I took off my shoes and walked the beach into town. It was the best feeling!

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.

Hi all, At this stage looks like we are going to finish in SdC on Friday, our flight home is only Monday night. The weather forecast doesnt look to be promising - showers over the whole weekend...
Hi all We are walking the reverse Camino from Muxia to Santiago via Fisterra. Any tips or information to help us on our way?
