Planning the Francis for early September 2010. Is that a very busy time? Will be walking alone and would prefer less populated.

It was very busy on the Camino Frances early September this year (2009) by all accounts, and numbers leaving SJPP in the first week of September especially were quite high. I don't imagine it will be much different next year.

The coming year does seem like a good year to consider one of the alternatives to the Camino France especially if you don't like crowds.
