It was very busy on the Camino Frances early September this year (2009) by all accounts, and numbers leaving SJPP in the first week of September especially were quite high. I don't imagine it will be much different next year.narnia said:

The coming year does seem like a good year to consider one of the alternatives to the Camino France especially if you don't like crowds.
