Newbie Pilgrim for end of March

Hello everyone!
I'm still a little nervous about it all but the planning has begun for my adventure on Camino Frances this Spring. I'm grateful for all of your insights on places to stay; and my qualms about a female traveling alone.

Welcome to the forum.
Lot's of single girls, of all ages, walking the Frances route. You'll meet other pilgrims along the way. Enjoy your planning, it is an exciting phase. I found spring a wonderful time to walk this route.

I've almost always traveled alone (middle-aged female) and never, ever felt threatened or unsafe in any way, unless you count some untethered dogs! I've only done the Via de la Plata so can't be of help regarding the Camino Frances, but please don't worry about being a solo female traveler -- but be prepared for LOTS of Spaniards (especially men in their 70s) to look astounded at a 'sola' peregrina.
