Norte/Finisterre Accommodation into late October

Time of past OR future Camino
Sept/Oct 2015 Le Puy - to Conques, Tui - Santiago. May/June 2017 Conques to SJPP
After much deliberation we've decided on the Norte and on to Finisterre (ageing bodies permitting) in 2018. Trying to avoid the heat so thinking to take our time and a seriously leisurely pace over the September/October period. Would appreciate advice on whether walking late into October will be a problem with accommodation - will establishments start to close? We are a group of 3 and all pretty happy to take it as it comes with a mix of communal or private accommodation.

Happy New Year to all and happy Camino adventures in 2018.

Many thanks Jill. Such a relief as a pilgrim we'd met on the Le Puy way this year suggested things would be closed. Very nice to know.

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
A lot of places are closed, so it’s a good idea to have a list, or an app, for what is open. The Youth Hostels were open, but 2 out of 3 that I went to were completely full with youth groups.

Ah well there it is! It's all in the planning but looks like there will be choices despite many being closed.
