Open Times of Post Offices

Member
Hi All, can anyone tell me the opening times of post offices in Leon and Santiago? My partner and I are plannning to arrive in Leon on a Saturday and wanted to post some of our things on to Santiago, which we will then also pick up on a Saturday (two weeks later).

Are post offices open on a Saturday?

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
Post Offices

You could email the two Post Offices for info:

Leon: op.leon@correos.es (That is the main Post office)

Santiago: op.santiagocompostela.acoruna@corresos.es

When you email, also ask how long it will take for your parcel to get to Santiago. Spanish post is quite slow!

Good luck with your walk!

Hi there,

I did try to look this up online on http://www.correos.es (Spanish Postal Service) and here is what I found:

GARCIA PRIETO, 12 HT
(Not sure which one is the one in old-town, but opening hours are almost the same)

Post offices in Leon

JARDIN DE SAN FRANCISCO, S/N HO
ANTONIO NEBRIJA, 15 HT
ORDOÑO III, 4 HT
FRAY LUIS DE LEON, S/N (EL CORTE INGLES) HI

Opening hours:

HO = Work days: 08:30-20:30 Saturdays: 09:30-14:00 Sundays/Holidays: Closed

The post office in Santiago has temporarily moved to a new building, but I imagine that the opening hours are the same.
