Hi, does anyone know a way to go from Pamplona to St Jean Pied de Port? Or is taxi the only option? I took trains from Barcelona, but could not find any buses or trains online. Are there any local buses?

Ah, sounds good. I found a shared taxi and made it to St Jean pied de port today. I thought everything would be closed on Sunday. But the pilgrims office and sporting goods stores are open! So now all that is left to do tomorrow is walk! Actually, the day after because I booked two nights. So tomorrow I will explore the town. Perhaps I will see you, as I am a slow walker.

They offer a service to Pamplona so it seems reasonable that they would go the other direction too.

It seems reasonable, but last year when I called them about transport from Pamplona airport, they would not pick up from there unless they already had a fare from France to Pamplona, so I lucked out and got a free ride with another pilgrim who's travel package had a van waiting for him at the airport! Maybe things changed since then.
