I will be flying into Paris in September 13fth and flying to Barritz the same day. My goal is to start the walk the next day in SJPP , but want to stay in SJPP on the 13th. . My question, my plane lands in 1655. How do I get the train to SJPP from there, and will I have enough time? Thank you....Getting a little nervous about that first day. I plan on waling on the 14 for the short leg.

Hi,

You will have enough time to get from Biarritz airport to Bayonne train station on that day. Last train leaves for SJPdP at 18:30.
When you leave the airport building there's bus stop to the left. Bus is number 14 or 14B (I don't remember exactly), costs 1€ and takes 15-30 minutes depending on the route.

Buen Camino!

Bus C (roughly every 30 minutes from the airport, 25 minute ride) has a slightly shorter route, get off at Reduit Boufflers, than line 14 (every 40 minutes from the airport, 28 minute ride) get off at Echauguette , and, in either case, walk across the bridge (Pont Saint-Esprit, across the river Adour) about 5 minutes to the station (Bayonne Gare SNCF). Bus timetable here.

(Click on "Horaires entre deux arrêts" - timetables between two stops - and enter Airport and Bayonne Gare.

Buen Camino!

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
