While walking around Lisbon today I saw these fantastic 'pilgrim notebooks' in a shop window and had to buy them!

The quote on the front reads: “iniciar um novo caminho assusta mas depois de cada passo percebemos o quanto era perigoso permanecer parado”

In my translation: “starting a new journey is scary but after every step we realise how dangerous it would have been to stay still”

PS: The tiendas chinas have wonderful small & lightweight notebooks that fit in a waist bag.

I would have bought them too. I love my diary notebooks written on my Caminos. They are such a joy to read when I'm back home.
