I will be walking the Camino Portugues in May 2012, and my plan is to stay in Porto for two nights when I arrive in Portugal, and two nights at the end, before my flight home. I am planning to put my pack and Camino gear inside a checked suitcase, and stay at a hotel that will store my suitcase while I am walking. I've seen recommendations on this forum for the Hotel Peninsular - does anyone know if they will store luggage? Or does anyone have any other recommendations for hotels for hotels in Porto that offer luggage storage?

Obrigada!

Among the posts that got lost when the forum was updated was one from Michael (?) recommending the Hotel Trinidade (thanks!), and my response, which I'm reconstructing now :D .

Thanks to Jeff for the suggeston of the airport for luggage storage, too.

I sent out some emails and had three replies from hotels with secure "guarda de bagagems":
Oporto Hotel (10 Euros), Hotel Sao Jose, and Pensao Grande Oceano. All three were inexpensive and got decent reviews on tripadvisor.com.
