I completed my first Camino solo in Nov. 2014, loved every minute! With the second one coming up on Sept. I have some thoughts.
When I was there I would meet other pilgrims that didn't know affected me until I returned home. They were nice, open and honest with me and I thought I was returning the emotion. Now that I have reminisced and dissected each moment I feel as I have let those people down. Oh I was nice and kind and was living in the moment but I feel like I left somethings out. I should have embraced them and shown them how it was. For some reason this just bothers me to no end, not being more open and free with everyone. To all the pilgrims I met and some that I keep in contact with, I apologize.
That out of the way, I am ready for the next Camino. If you meet me on the trail and share a moment or hour or day i can guarantee you will enjoy that time and all the feelings that are attached to the wonderful Camino.
Thanks to all the people that live there and the Pilgrims that visit because it's the journey as much as the destination.

When I first put the thoughts to paper, it felt kinda dumb. Lot of other things to say so it was mostly a brief but now it fits. Didn't want to be that Camino weirdo or anything, just how I felt about the trek as a whole. I going back for more so the contact must have been good and like I said, a guaranteed good time for us all. Thanks for the likes.

Sometimes we tie ourselves up in knots with the self-analysis stuff. I think it is good for me to recognise when I have done something wrong and to resolve to behave differently in future. But anything more is just useless, and I try to let it go. Try. Aaaagh she thinks, remembering a foot-in-mouth moment from yesterday!
