I have been following your blog daily, as well, and will miss it when it ends. However, I've noticed (or think I have) that the forum activity increases when the year ends and people are getting serious about their upcoming Caminos!

I think they're looking forward to future Caminos but also have serious withdrawal symptoms as well if they've been walking any long distances this year. It's addictive, gets in your blood and the experiences never leave you.

Colleen, have loved your blog. Thank you so very much for the apt poetry, songs, beautiful photos and very honest musings about your Camino.
Will walk in your footsteps next year.

Not wanting to tempt fate... if all goes to plan we'll be in Santiago tomorrow.

I have loved The Via de la Plata and I have loved the Sanabrés too... I am so grateful that we had the opportunity to walk this majestic path.

I've not been a good forum member in updates here but I have blogged each day... the last entry is here...

Congratulations, Colleen! It was great to meet you briefly on our travels along the Via de La Plata. We finally arrived in Santiago on Wednesday after 41 days of walking from Seville. We took the long bus ride (17 1/2 hours!!!) back home on Thursday and are now enjoying the familiar surroundings of Barcelona.
Sincerely,
Linda

Congratulation on completing your journey, makes me feel jealous. I'm down for the VDLP mid March 2018; in 7 weeks I'll be able to say I'm going next year.
