Sending Luggage on the Camino del Norte

My walk on the CdF last spring was life changing and therefore I am planning to walk the Camino del Norte this fall. I carried my pack last spring but between the mountainous terrain and my age (turning 82 this year), I would like to send my pack ahead each day. However, I have heard reports that there may be restrictions on that option. Last summer I read in the newspaper that parish albergues (just on the CdF?) would not accept forwarded bags. And I have recently read that municipal albergues on the CdN will not accept bags either. Sadly, those are the only lodgings that interest me!
Does anyone have current info on this issue up on the Camino del Norte???

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
The only way you will likely know is when you get ready to ship. Generally the bag shipping companies will have a menu that you can chose the albergue/hotel where you want your bag shipped. If the place in not on the list, it means you can't ship there. You can certainly go on the websites and look by city in advance. My husband has also started to need bag transport and we are grieving that we can no longer stay where we like, however, as hospitaleros ourselves, we understand the rules and abide by them. There are some pilgrims who will ship to another albergue or a bar and then retrieve their bag on arrival, but this does not seem right to us so we don't do that.

€2,-/day will present your project to thousands of visitors each day. All interested in the Camino de Santiago.
