sending stuff to Leon

Is there somewhere in Leon that I could send something ahead to and have it stay there for a couple of weeks? I'm thinking it could be a good idea to take some dehydrated meals from home for the days on the del Salvador and Primitivo where nothing is available (they are lighter than carrying three loaves of bread and tins of tuna for five people), but I don't want to carry them all the way along the Bazantes and then from St Jean. If I could post them to Leon on my arrival in Barcelona, that would be useful.

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Rachael,

See these two earlier Forum threads for info on how to send packages within Spain to yourself at a post office address. >>

and

An alternative might be to send the package to where you plan to stay in Leon. The municipal albergue is now closed and the only pilgrim albergue is the Albergue del Monasterio de las Benedictinas (Carbajalas). You might write to ask if you could send your parcel to them. Here is their web >> http://www.benedictinas.org/albergue.htm Of course, if you plan to reserve in a hostal or hotel there should be no problem in sending a package.

Happy research,
