The weather has changed drastically. Saturday leaving Nájera it was raining and Sunday the temperatures dropped to 1c, more than 20 degrees below the highs we have experienced.
We had snow flurries crossing the Montes de Oca and this morning we woke up to a carpet of snow. It snowed for the entire climb to the Olmos de Atapuerca and the descent. Luckily the sun came out in Burgos to disappear once again till my arrival in Hornillos.
The strips are due to the snow fall.
