We Dutch have a busy December month. Beginning of the month Saint Nicolas celebrates his birthday at December 5th -he does not receive presents but gives them - As soon as everybody has got his present Saint Nicolas disappears silently through the backdoor the day after and at once there is father Chrismas ! Shops change within hours into Christmas presentations. Inmediately Chrismas trees appear in our houses and everybody starts writing cards with "the best wishes " . .and somebody has to be the first . Thanks for your remarks and your best wishes.
