Tanja2016 & Leppis on Camino Francés

New Original Camino Gear Designed Especially with The Modern Peregrino In Mind!
Finally the day has come!

We are now sitting in the train, just left Paris behind and in the afternoon we'll finally see what SJPP looks like.

Tomorrow the walking starts!
Good luck and may all your dreams come true

Leppis,

What great feeling to at last be truly on your way!
May you have a wonder-filled adventure.

Buen camino !

The 2024 Camino guides will be coming out little by little. Here is a collection of the ones that are out so far.
The first edition came out in 2003 and has become the go-to-guide for many pilgrims over the years. It is shipping with a Pilgrim Passport (Credential) from the cathedral in Santiago de Compostela.
Buen Camino, Tanja and Leppis.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face;

Now we are at SJPP, getting some rest before the start.

Hello again!

We are now back in Paris after walking from SJPP to Santiago and then Finisterre and finally ending our walk in Muxia. The whole journey took us 34 days and, despite all the pains and aches, we find those days being amongst the best days of our lives so far.

We feel especially blessed due to finding such a lovely Camino family, not least because one of the family members was a catholic priest.

Thanks to all forum members for sharing your information and tips, and a very special thanks goes to Kanga for mentioning the umbrellas/sunbrellas - they were absolutely great to have when walking under the scorching sun!

A very special thanks also to Ivar (it was great to meet you!) for keeping up the forum and providing such great service to all the peregrinos out there.

As part of my journey I also carried a shell for Denise from Astorga to Muxia where we eventually gave it back to the waves of the Atlantic ocean.

Ultreia!
