Reading the comments here prior to setting out on the Camino provided much insight for assisting both in the preparation before and as a practical guide while on the Camino. The spirit of overall encouragement throughout this forum is perhaps the most valuable of contributions.

it seems to me that something happens when we go on pilgrimage which motivates people to give something back. That might be working as a hospitalero or simply encouraging or giving information to other pilgrims through forums like this.
