good point - it appeared on my Fbook page.

Re weight - are we being a little silly here? One can make it out of any material one wants - silk for instance.
Yes - we are being a little silly ... (pilgrim obsession with the weight of everything that goes in the backpack etc!) ...

I have a pair of trousers with this cut (in silk so I can't use it in the other ways) and it's impossible to go to the bathroom without removing it all. I imagine how the trousers model would be impractical in the Camino. Unless it makes a easy use of a FUD, then it's a good reason to get a FUD and a wrap! (if someone has tried, please let me know because then my trousers would be the ideal clothing (together with the FUD) for parties

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

If you want to keep the trousers the way they are, you'd need a totally different device with a tube along one of the trouser legs to the ground at least, but a little further would be handy. Also, given that the trousers are the way they are, you would have to install the device and fix it before you put them on and keep it there during your walk. Handy is not the word that comes to mind! Makes one wonder too if and how you'd be able to sit.

Go skirt. Go real trousers with a zipper. Go naked. Don't fuddle with the impossible.

A bit like the way they got rid of the sand in the movie "The Great Escape"?
