tour of Cathedral of Santiago/online tickets

Time of past OR future Camino
2021
For anyone who bought tickets online to tour the Cathedral of Santiago, the website says that the cost for general admission is 12 euro (10 if an accredited pilgrim -- if we have received our compostelas, are we still accredited?). This includes

"Torre de la Carraca + Museo Colección permanente, Palacio de Gelmírez y exposiciones temporales"

If you scroll down, there is another option, that costs 20/16 euro.

Pórtico+Torre+Museo reduced Admission16 €

  • For each visitor, 2 tickets of the Torre-Pórtico-Museum rate (€ 8 each) must be added to the shopping cart, 1 for the Pórtico de la Gloria and another for the Torre de la Carraca, choosing timetables where at least 1 hour elapses between one visit and another and that are the same day.
Am I correct that I would buy two tickets, one for the museum, tower, palace, etc. The Portico of Glory is a second ticket?

Thanks to anyone who did this.

Down bag (90/10 duvet) of 700 fills with 180 g (6.34 ounces) of filling. Mummy-shaped structure, ideal when you are looking for lightness with great heating performance.

€149,-
I've not bought any tickets recently but we've discussed the current ticket purchasing system some time ago. The description that you quote may be a bit out of date. I think that all will become clear when you actually start selecting the tickets that you want and put them into your cart.

Note that there are two types of tickets for the Pórtico de la Gloria: free tickets for the Pórtico alone, and paid tickets for the Pórtico in combination with access to other parts like museum, tower, roof etc. See Free visits Pórtico de la Gloria and PORTICO OF THE GLORY in the drop-down menu. Currently, they also offer visits of the Cathedral a night.

You can make use of the pilgrim reduction.
