Transfer from Santiago airport

We want to take a bus to ponferrera from Santiago. Will the bus do a stop near the AirPort in Santiago de compostela.

Rome2Rio suggests Train and Bus solutions. http://www.rome2rio.com/s/Santiago-de-Compostela/Ponferrada. In either case you will need to make your way from the Airport to Santiago. There is a regular shuttle bus that will drop you at the Rail Station or take you to the bus station.

We want to take a bus to ponferrera from Santiago. Will the bus do a stop near the AirPort in Santiago de compostela.

Two (main) options by bus:

1. Take a bus from the airport to downtown Santiago de Compostela with www.empresafreire.com Once in downtown Santiago de Compotela, get a bus to Ponferrada with www.alsa.es/en
2. Take a bus from the airport to Lugo with Empresa Freire (see link above). And another one from Lugo to Ponferrada with Alsa (see link above).

P.S.: From downtown Santiago de Compostela, train is another option. The bus from the airport stops both at the bus station and at the train station.
