plan to walk in 2015
HI Veteran peregrinos! I am going in September to walk for 10 days from Seville on the Via de la Plata. I will make it to Villafranca de los Barros, Terremejia or Merida depending on how far I feel good walking each day.
Does anyone know if its easy to get a bus from one of these towns to Madrid? Or have another suggestion? Many thanks!

Ideal sleeping bag liner whether we want to add a thermal plus to our bag, or if we want to use it alone to sleep in shelters or hostels. Thanks to its mummy shape, it adapts perfectly to our body.

Hi,

I guess you already have the answers in the post above... At least, Mérida is so large a city that I cannot imagine there be any problems getting a train or a bus to Madrid. I just want to wish you a good camino, and please tell us all about it here on the Forum! :O)

Take care

The 9th edition the Lightfoot Guide will let you complete the journey your way.
Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I took the train from Merida last year and it was a very pleasant experience. It's an opportunity to have a chat to locals who aren't part of the camino industry; Spanish trains are, in my experience, comfortable, clean and well-managed; the service is good; and once you're going it's a fine way to see the countryside.
Buen camino, wes.

thanks everyone who has given such helpful information! much appreciated!
