2015- the first one
Hello!
I'm planning to start my camino tomorrow. The thing is- I used blabla car and.. Arrived to San Sebastian instead of Irun.
Its 5pm and I want to sort out what to do- what is the best way to get to Irun at this time? Will I be able to get a place in albergue? (Its quite late)

Thanks! Any advice will be really appreciated.

I am not sure if the San Sebastian albergue has the pilgrim passport. I hope somebody else has the answer on this. By the way, there are hourly trains from San Sebastian to Irun, which take only 20 mins to get there. So it is possible to get to Irun tonight. I actually was there exactly one year ago. The albergue was full but they made a lot of extra beds available in a garage nearby, wasnot very comfy but so everybody could sleep. Alternatively, stay in San Sebastian and tomorrow take the 10.50 train in Irun, pick up your credential and start walking, possibly just making a short stage towards Pasaie Donibane. Buen Camino !

Oh thank god. Thank you for letting me know, kind people. I've been walking towards that albergue for three hours now and I totally need to get rid of my bags as soon as possible.
I've totally overestimated myself.
Thank you!
Buen camino!
