I installed Wise Pilgrim and downloaded Primitivo map.
Can't open or view it. I only get to online Google maps at my current Home location. Can't click on Offline maps.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

The focus is on reducing the risk of failure through being well prepared. 2nd ed.

You can send a private message to @wisepilgrim - just click on his name and then "start conversation.". Or he will probably be along to weigh in on this thread.

The one from Galicia (the round) and the one from Castilla & Leon. Individually numbered and made by the same people that make the ones you see on your walk.
Download offline tiles from the download page in the app. Once they are done and unpacked, switch to any page that has a map. On the bottom is a toggle button to switch between map types. Remember that offline maps only cover the area immediately surrounding the Camino.

Another option is to download an app that allows you to spoof your location. I used Fake GPS when testing the great Camino Ninja. Just checked Android and Apple app stores and there are many options. Buen Camino!

On the iPhone, going to maps defaults to my current location as you would want it to when walking. Sitting at home, however, I zoom out to continent level and can see the red/green map dots in northern Spain. Zoom in and the detail appears.

You don’t really need to spoof your location. The app will zoom in to the Camino and the maps work perfectly fine without knowing where you are. Spoofing for the sake of seeing your fake location on the map feels like a lot of work.

I’m the blue dot in hit Arizona and you can see the Camino in Spain on the picture. Just enlarge that part and you can see all of the download of Camino Frances. It only took me about 3 years to finally figure it out.

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

To check what I have available offline, I find it helpful to turn off wifi and switch to airplane mode. When you open the app, you'll need to navigate from your current location to the Camino.

There is no need to navigate to the Camino on the map page if you open the map from a city or an accommodation on the Camino, both of those map buttons specifically open to the place selected.
