Walking for you : YOUR intentions on my camino

Hello, everyone.

I am walking part of the Camino de Santiago this coming week (Sept 8-13th). I am only doing part of it, the first part of the French Way (St Jean Pied de Port to Pamplona. I did the last part two years ago, Sarria to Santiago). I will hopefully do the other stages in the years to come.

I thought of sharing the camino with some friends who are unable to walk the camino themselves. I decided to dedicate 1km of my walk for them. I will walk with them and their intentions in mind. When I set off each day, and as I walk each km, I can concentrate on that intention rather than my legs and back that will no doubt killing me (as I haven't trained at all).

Then I realised, because this forum has helped me a lot, I can open it up to this community too! I can dedicate 1km of my camino for you or anyone you nominate.

Let me know of anyone who you'd like me to add to my list. I don't need to know their real names or specifics, for example, a "For the intention of ABC who is going through a rough patch in their marriage" or "For XYZ who wants to celebrate their weight loss" etc etc is enough. Obviously, the more detailed, the more I can visualise them as I walk, but only if you like.

That is beautiful. I am doing the same thing. I am walking for my friend who would love to do it but cannot due to metastasizing cancer to her spine, and for my father, paralyzed from the neck down from agent orange poisoning...
I've been visualizing my trek as a walk of prayer for humanity. For peace.

You can add my friend, Lisa, to your prayers. My father will joyously be with me on the trail in Spirit form, as he has already transitioned from this life.
