My name is Elizabeth, an American embarking an unknown journey in just a few days from Porto to Santiago. This may be my first camino, but not my first spiritual journey abroad. I am on this path as a reset button for a really rough 2018, mainly to release any last attachments from my divorce and to further deepen my connection with God and identity as a Christian mystic - something which is very judged today or at least misunderstood. And although I am American, I am deeply connected to my Eastern European roots and always feel alive and revived when surrounded by ancient architecture and natural scenery.
I am a creative - blogger and writer (and recreational photographer) and my work is in health and fitness, mainly coaching and healing corporate clients to overcome the hardships of working in corporate America, a place where many lose their souls' connection. A year ago I was at the Weleda Gardens in Germany exploring Rudolf Steiner's methods of holistic healing and hope to explore the best of Portugal at some of my farm and garden stays along the camino.
If our paths are meant to cross, I so hope they do and will experience the moments or minutes with each and every person that crosses my path. I look forward to the experience and everyone that I meet!
