Might be a silly question, but....

I'll be in Finisterra and then Muxia in a couple of days.

Are there any particularly good spots to watch the sunset from ?

Technical backpack for day trips with backpack cover and internal compartment for the hydration bladder. Ideal daypack for excursions where we need a medium capacity backpack. The back with Air Flow System creates large air channels that will keep our back as cool as possible.

€83,-
Robo,

Félicitations on your latest camino!

At Cabo Fisterra on the rocks beyond the lighthouse by the sculpted Last Boot in easier times for me was always a wonderful place to sit and watch the sea.

Carpe diem,
Margaret

I think we’ll be there Monday. Maybe we’ll crowd the same spot? :)

Many thanks.
I'll check out that spot.

Bear in mind it's a good 45 minute walk from the town to the lighthouse, and it's uphill all the way.. so allow yourself enough time to get up there. Hope you have a glorious sunset!

Up to lighthouse and jump onto rocks to the right of lighthouse with a bottle of Albariño and few glasses just in case. The end of the world sunset!

The first time I visited I went out on a boat cruise to see the sunset. That was fun. it was calm and warm.
Next time I'll just go up to the lighthouse.

The boat cruise is great, and inexpensive! I've done it twice - the first time I had shin splints which made it difficult to walk, and the second time my friend had a leg injury. Sitting on a boat was a great way to go out to the light for sunset.

Rob,

If you do make it back up there, enjoy!!!

We just got back down and desperately need a shower 🤣.

It was great to meet yesterday, and we were hoping you did okay with the downhills.

Back to Santiago tomorrow morning - we found a BlaBla car for just E7 at 7:30am. There may be a seat left?

If you’re around Santiago, send me a message and maybe we can have a drink or a meal. We fly out Thursday morning.

No boats this week - it’s crazy windy! 🤢🤣

Get a spanish phone number with Airalo. eSim, so no physical SIM card. Easy to use app to add more funds if needed.
I have some great picture from the hill across from the church looking over the rocks. But I also have some great pictures from down by the church.
